LegalNature has three basic product areas:

LegalNature divides starting a business into 4 simple Steps:
- Prepare – Fill out information online and choose among several additional options.
- Review – LegalNature will review the order for completeness
- File – LegalNature will file your order with the appropriate state entity
- Business Formed – LegalNature will let you know when the documents are filed and provide a place to set up an online account to keep your documents.
Click one link to Start an LLC, S Corp, C Corp or Nonprofit business. The basic fee is $40 plus the individual state’s fees where you choose to incorporate. These state fees vary greatly. Each business entity includes basic services.
The form will guide you through the entity you’d like to start, and specific questions about that entity, including company name, and contact information. Along the way are complete explanations of most choices. If you are forming a corporation, there will be a different list of designators related to forming that entity. The designator is indicated at the end of your name, for example: My Company, LLC. More information specific to each entity are requested.
Add-on features include options to speed up your process, registered agent service, EIN registration, shipping, license search, corporate documents and a business kit.
This order on the left includes all of the LLC options, the one on the right includes the charges you might incur forming an S Corp. The Corporate entity option guides you through requirements on shareholders, owners, and management structure, etc. This shows all of the extras selected.

After you pay the fees, LegalNature will review your entries for completeness, file with the state and notify you when the documents are filed and delivered.

Verdict
LegalNature covers all types of business entity setups as well as other legal situations. I am intrigued with the explanation of services as you go through the process. Instead of clicking on a help feature, everything is on the same page. Ala carte items are available, but only clicking through the setup process reveals these options. Everything you need to set up your business is here and it’s a fairly simple process. The amount of documents in the library and the explanation paired with them is the site’s best feature.
